“For God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. “ 2 Corinthians 4:6-7

    Oh! what glory! He abides!

The Apostle tells us it is a “mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:26-27 Humanity filled with Divinity! “God hath quickened us together with Christ, and hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Oh! the Old Rugged Cross, Stained with blood so divine, Has a wondrous attraction for me.
For ‘twas on that old Cross, Jesus suffered and died, To pardon and sanctify me. —G. Bernard

Little holiness crowd, you are looked at by worldly friends and relatives as a little strange. You are probably the speckled bird and the cast-off of the worldly crowd, but let us see what God thinks of you. “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; which in times past were not a people. but are now the people of God.” 1 Peter 2:9-10

Tell me not of heavy crosses, Or of burdens hard to bear, For I’ve found this great salvation, Makes each burden light appear; And I love to follow Jesus Gladly counting all but dross, Worldly honors all forsaking For the glory of the Cross
