Once a system is chosen (acrylic lacquer or urethane enamel) use only products within that system. 1 QUART of BLACK DIAMOND SHIMRIN METALLIC BASECOAT MBC03; MBC Shimrin Metallic Bases are House of Kolor's largest size metallic basecoats that feature exceptional sparkle and brightness. Available in three unique colors, they are an excellent choice as a base coat for Kandy finishes. When used as a base coat, MBC-01 is used to make bright dazzling Kandy colors while MBC-03 can be used to make dark Kandy colors. MBC-02 is a medium color used to slightly darken Kandy colors. All three make Kandys with exceptional sparkle in sunlight. They may be used cleared over for a final finish. Due to their unique chemistry make-up, they may be top coated with either acrylic lacquer or urethane enamel. Intermixing of these two systems, after the base coat, is not recommended.
