Three Tools in One The ScanGaugeE draws diagnostic information from your vehicle's OBD-II port and funnels this into useful automotive data points. Trip Computer The trip computer functionality built into the ScanGaugeE automatically tracks five sets of trip data: current trip, today's trip, previous day's trip, current tank trip and tank to empty. Track actual fuel costs with Trip-Fuel-Costs and Today's-Fuel-Costs digital gauges. Track your vehicle's CO2 output in real-time. View information such as Current-CO2 and Trip-CO2. You can also track the days Total CO2 and Total CO2 for the tank within the built-in Trip Computers. The ScanGaugeE allows you to troubleshoot your own vehicle, read error codes, the conditions present when the error occurred and the ability to turn off the Check Engine inch light and avoid those costly trips to the mechanic. Built-in nonvolatile Flash memory retains setup information and stored trip data. The gauges and trip computer information can be shown in either English or metric units of measure, including kilometers, liters, Celsius, kPA and the rate of update can be increased or decreased. ScanGaugeE installs in just minutes without tools and does not require batteries or an external power source. A single connection to the diagnostic connector under the dashboard is all that is needed. All data and power are derived from the single OBDII connection.
