A trail favorite, the redesigned Palisade 80 backpack offers all the features you would expect from a hardcore load hauler but with a fresh new look. The Palisade 80 is equipped with Gregory's Response CFS suspension system, which includes such features as a quick-adjust, five-point angle waist belt and an ultra-soft pre-curved 3D harness. By adjusting to five different hip belt angles with ease, the waist belt combines with the harness to provide maximum comfort by eliminating wrinkles and hot spots on the main contact areas of the hips and shoulders. As a result, the pack feels as comfortable at the end of the hike as it did at the beginning. The Response CFS system also employs twin aluminum stays that are supported by a horizontal anti-barreling cross stay, ensuring that the pack will not barrel under extreme weight. Storage-wise, the Palisade 80 includes a large main compartment, a front pocket with a stash pouch, a top pocket that converts to a fanny pack, dual waist-belt pockets, a hideaway water bottle holder, and a stash pocket. The pack is even hydration compatible, with a built-in hydration sleeve and dual exit ports. Other features include top, front, and bottom access; a water- and wear-resistant bottom panel; water-resistant zippers; and a sturdy exterior made of 210D HT double diamond ripstop and broken twill nylon fabrics.
