These large freshwater pearls were selected for their unique shapes, high luster and rare surface orient. Their irregular shapes are similar to baroque-shaped Tahitian pearls, and no two are exactly alike. The pearls were treated to create stunning multicolored peacock colors that exhibit an intense rainbow of aubergine, green, blue and metallic copper-like tones (although they are often referred to as black pearls, they are not jet black). The pearls are very large for real cultured pearls; widths are 10-11mm and lengths range from 13mm to over 18mm.
