Product Description
Hanna Instruments HI 98506 Electronic Thermometer, with Cal-Check for Wine, +/- 0.5 Degree F Accuracy: Industrial & Scientific. Hanna Instruments holds many firsts in the field of analytical instrumentation, including a pH electrode with a built-in temperature sensor, an electronic pocket-sized pH tester, and a replaceable electrode pH pocket tester. The Hanna Instruments HI 98506 is a handheld thermometer for measuring liquids, solids, air, and frozen materials. With its sharp tipped stainless steel probe, the meter is capable of reaching and penetrating a wide range of materials. Additionally, the steel probe is in compliance with food regulations, and can be used to measure temperatures within semisolid food products such as fruits, vegetables and cheeses. It also features Hanna’s Calibration-Check function, a single-button method of checking that the device is properly calibrated. The HI 98506 has a range of -58.0 to 302.0 degrees F, + or - 0.5 degrees F (from -4 to 194 degrees F), + or - 1 degree F (outside) with a resolution of 0.1 degrees F (58.0 to 199.9 degrees F); 1 degrees F (200 to 302 degrees F). The meter operates on one 1.5 V battery, which provides approximately 3,000 hours of use. Hanna Instruments manufactures a wide variety of analytical instrumentation, including pH meters, multi-parameter meters, electrodes, chemical reagents, and buffer solutions. Founded in 1978, Hanna is headquartered in Woonsocket, RI, with subsidiaries in 32 countries.
