Product Description
Hanna Instruments HI 1217D Gel Filled pH Electrode, with 7-Pin Din Connector: Industrial & Scientific. Hanna Instruments holds many firsts in the field of analytical instrumentation, including a pH electrode with a built-in temperature sensor, an electronic pocket-sized pH tester, and a replaceable electrode pH pocket tester. The HI 1217 D is a pH electrode with a seven-pin Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) connector. The electrode is made from ceramic, has a 3 mm spherical tip, and is filled with a gel electrolyte. It has a single reference Ag/AgCl electrode, with a single junction, and the body of the electrode is constructed of PolyEther-Imide (PEI) for durability. The electrode has an amplifier and a temperature sensor. The electrode has a range of 0 to 13 pH, 0 to 80 degrees C (32 to 176 degrees F) and maximum pressure is 2 bar. It comes with a five-pole 1 m (3.3’) cable. Dimensions are 12 mm by 110 mm. pH electrodes are used for measuring the pH of a substance. They are often constructed of glass, which senses hydrogen ions, and generates a millivoltage that is picked up by the filling solution and transferred to a wire that connects to the pH meter. Hanna Instruments manufactures a wide variety of analytical instrumentation, including pH meters, multi-parameter meters, electrodes, chemical reagents, and buffer solutions. Founded in 1978, Hanna is headquartered in Woonsocket, RI, with subsidiaries in 32 countries. To ensure the quality of its products, Hanna is a vertically integrated manufacturer and does not subcontract any part of its manufacturing.
