Product Description
Hanna Instruments HI 9044 Microprocessor Based K Thermocouple Thermometer, with Special Probe: Industrial & Scientific. Hanna Instruments holds many firsts in the field of analytical instrumentation, including a pH electrode with a built in temperature sensor, an electronic pocket-sized pH tester, and a replaceable electrode pH pocket tester. The HI 9044 is a hand-held micro-processor based thermometer with a K-type probe for taking temperature measurements across a wide range. The meter is housed in a durable casing, and has a smooth keypad that can be cleaned. It features a dual-level LCD screen that simultaneously displays the high and low temperatures of the cycle, and the current temperature. A hold function allows the user to freeze the screen to record results, and the meter self-checks proper functioning and battery life upon start-up. Temperature range is -50.0 to 1350 degrees C;-58.0 to 2462 degrees F, + or - 0.2% F.S. (for 1 year, excluding probe error), with resolution 0.1 degrees C (-50.0 to 199.9 degrees C); 1 degrees C (outside) 0.1 degree sF (-58.0 to 399.9 degrees F); 1 degree sF (outside). A wide variety of probes can be used with the HI 9044, and it operates on one 9 V battery. Dimensions are 180 x 83 x 40 mm (7.1 x 3.3 x 1.6) with weight 226 g (8.0 oz.). This meter is similar to the HI 9043, but it also includes a fixed liquid probe. Hanna Instruments manufactures a wide variety of analytical instrumentation, including pH meters, multi-parameter meters, electrodes, chemical reagents, and buffer solutions. Founded in 1978, Hanna is headquartered in Woonsocket, RI, with subsidiaries in 32 countries. To assure the quality of its products, Hanna is a vertically integrated manufacturer and does not subcontract any part of its manufacturing.
