Hanna Instruments holds many firsts in the field of analytical instrumentation, including the world’s first pH electrode with a built-in temperature sensor, electronic pocket-sized pH tester, and replaceable electrode pH pocket tester. The HI 99151 is a portable waterproof pH meter for both indoor and outdoor use. The meter features a large LCD screen, automatic temperature compensation (ATC), a hold function to freeze and record results, and a battery error protection system to help prevent inaccurate readings. Calibration is automatic at one or two points, and calibration sachets are included. pH range is -2.00 to 16.00 (+ or - 0.1 pH) with a resolution of 0.1 pH. Temperature range is - 5.0 to 105.0 degrees C (23.0 to 221.0 degrees F) + or -0.5 degree C (up to 60 degrees C), + or -1 degrees C (outside); + or -1.0 degrees F (up to 140 degrees F), + or -2 degrees F (outside), + or -1 degrees F (up to 140 degrees F) + or -2 degrees F (outside) with a resolution of 0.1 degrees C or F.
