Product Description
Hanna Instruments HI 98502 Check Temperature Digital Thermometer, -58 to 302 Degree F: Industrial & Scientific. Hanna Instruments holds many firsts in the field of analytical instrumentation, including a pH electrode with a built-in temperature sensor, an electronic pocket-sized pH tester, and a replaceable electrode pH pocket tester. The Hanna Instruments HI 98502 Check Temp Digital Thermometer is a handheld thermometer for measuring liquids, solids, air, and frozen materials. With its sharp tipped stainless steel probe, the HI 98502 is capable of penetrating a wide range of materials. Additionally, the steel probe is in compliance with food regulations, and can be used to measure temperatures within semisolid food products such as fruits, vegetables and cheeses. It also features Hanna’s Cal-Check function, a simple single-button method of checking that the device is properly calibrated. The HI 98502 has a range of -58.0 to 302.0 degrees F (+ or - 1 0.5 degrees F at -4 to 194 degrees F inside) / + or - 1 degrees F outside) with a resolution of 0.1 degrees F (58.0 to 199.9 degrees F) and 1 degrees F (200 to 302 degrees F). The meter operates using one 1.5V AAA battery, which provides approximately three thousand hours of continuous use. It measures 66 x 50 x 25 mm (2.6 x 2.0 x 1.0), and weighs 50 g (1.8 oz.). Hanna Instruments manufactures a wide variety of analytical instrumentation, including pH meters, multi-parameter meters, electrodes, chemical reagents, and buffer solutions. Founded in 1978, Hanna is headquartered in Woonsocket, RI, with subsidiaries in 32 countries. To ensure the quality of its products, Hanna is a vertically integrated manufacturer and does not subcontract any part of its manufacturing.
