Product Description
iittala Ultima Thule Highball Glasses, Set of 2: Kitchen & Dining. The classic Iittala design was created by Tapio Wirkkala in 1968 and named after the fabled arctic land. Put a chill in the air with Iittala's Ultima Thule glassware. Glimmering with clear, textured surfaces, the organic collection evokes wintry water images like cascading icicles or a frost-covered window. This set of two highball glasses feature thin, precision-cut rims and slightly curved, round bodies. Crafted in a wood mold, each piece has its own special markings that come out in the glass-blowing process. At the base, bubbles of glass cluster as if they might drip right off. Small round feet hold the vessel off the table-so the glass looks wet, but your table stays dry. Well-balanced and substantial to hold, these 12-3/4-ounce highballs make a versatile addition to the bar and serve everyday beverages in the kitchen or dining room. They also go conveniently into the dishwasher. It is made in Finland.
