Made in Japan to time-honored standards and exacting detail, this 6-3/8-inch Midoru Kachuken small cleaver from Kotobuki will easily can chop through bones, but it can also be used for slicing meats, fish, or vegetables. The blade is machine stamped from professional quality Japanese 420 series stainless steel, a cutlery grade metal that's hygienic and offers excellent resistance to rust, stain, and corrosion. The double-ground edge retains its sharpness and the blade features a wavy pattern near the edge that resembles the undulating ocean. Hand wash with a mild detergent and wipe dry.
