Metrokane Velvet Champagne Pliers: Kitchen & Dining. The pliers are made of stainless steel with ergonomic handles and rubberized grips for comfortable, soft, velvet inch handling. Locker room hunks require no assistance when removing corks from champagne or other bubbly-wine bottles, and they're happy to spray wine around. Others, however, find it difficult to uncork a bubbly wine and to do it without spraying or spilling. These pliers are specifically designed to assist the latter group by firmly gripping a cork and providing leverage for twisting it free under control so the user doesn't waste a single drop. They come in a transparent plastic case for storage on the bar or in a drawer.
