Product Description
Oakton pH 11 Portable pH/mV Meter, with All-in-One pH/Temperature Probe: Industrial & Scientific. ISEs respond selectively to ions in the presence of other ions, and are commonly used for water-testing, and to analyze biological samples in hydroponics, aquaculture, and agriculture. Oakton Instruments manufactures an array of scientific instruments for research, industrial, and educational uses. The Oakton 35614-20 pH 11 is a handheld meter that has push-button calibration with auto-scanning, and comes with an all-in-one pH/temperature probe. A portable meter is commonly used to measure the pH, mV, and temperature of substance in water treatment and swimming pools in hydroponics, aquaculture, and educational applications. This meter features a two-electrode bracket for one-handed use, and ATC for accurate readings, push-button capabilities with auto-scanning up to five points, and buffer recognition of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and USA standards. It has a large, digital LCD display to view pH, mV, and temperature, a hold function for reading and recording data, a ready indicator, and an auto-off function for automatic shut-off after a period of nonuse. The meter has the ability to recall up to 50 data sets, comes with an all-in-one pH/temperature probe (35811-71), and has a built-in electrode stand for benchtop use. The 35614-20 pH 11 has an operating temperature of 0 to 50 degrees C (32 to 122 F) and buffer recognition standards USA 1.68, 4.01, 7.00, 10.01, 12.45; NIST 1.68, 4.01, 6.86, 9.18, 12.45. pH range -2.00 to 16.00, resolution 0.01, accuracy + or - 0.01. MV range -199.9 to +199.9, -1999 to + 1999, resolution 0.1, 1, accuracy + or - 0.2 + or - 2 mV beyond + or - 199.9. Temperature range -10.00 to 110.0 C, resolution 0.1 degree C, accuracy + or - 0.5 degree C. Its dimensions are 7.38 (l) x 3.5 (w) x 1.75 (d) inches and it weighs 1.3 lb. The meter works with four 1.5-V AAA batteries (not included) or AC adapter (not included) for up to 700 hours of continuous use. pH testers measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance. Since 1991, Oakton has distributed a wide variety of instruments such as meters, electrodes, and transmitters.
