Product Description
Oakton Waterproof pH 310 All-In-One Kit: Industrial & Scientific. The meter works with four 1.5-V AAA batteries (not included) for up to 100 hours of continuous use. pH testers measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance and are commonly used for water-testing, and to analyze biological samples in hydroponics, aquaculture, and agriculture. Oakton Instruments manufactures an array of scientific instruments for research, industrial, and educational uses. The Oakton 35618-72 pH 310 is a waterproof, dustproof, handheld meter with kit that has push-button, five-point calibration, comes with an all-in-one pH/temperature probe (35808-71), and floats if dropped in liquids. A portable meter is commonly used to measure the pH, mV, and temperature of substance in food-related applications, and dirty and wet environments in hydroponics, aquaculture, and educational applications. This meter displays in either Celsius or Fahrenheit, and features an electrode holder for one-handed use. It has Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) for accurate readings, push-button capabilities at five points and auto-buffer recognition of US, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) standards for ease of use. It has a dual-screen, digital LCD display to view pH, mV, and temperature, and features a ready function to indicate when calibration is due, a hold function for reading and recording data, and an auto-off function for automatic shut-off after a period of nonuse. It also has an automatic endpoint that freezes the reading when stable. In addition to the probe, this kit comes with buffer calibration pouches (five each of 4.01, 7.00, 10.00, and rinse water), sample bottles, two electrode holders, batteries, and a hard carrying case. The meter has the ability to recall up to 50 data sets with temperature, and is Ingress Protection (IP) 67-rated for protection against solid objects or liquids. The 35618-72 pH 310 has an operating temperature of 0 to 100 degrees C, and six buffer values selectable from three sets: US 1.68, 4.01, 7.01, 10.01, 12.45; NIST 1.68, 4.01, 6.86, 9.18, 12.45; DIN 1.09, 2.06, 4.65, 6.79, 9.23, 12.75. pH range -2.00 to 16.00, resolution 0.01, accuracy + or - 0.01. MV range + or - 2000, resolution 0.1 mV + or - 199.9 mV, 1 mV beyond + or - 199.9 mV, accuracy + or - 0.2 + or - 199.9 mV, + or - 2 mV beyond + or - 199.9. Temperature range 0.0 to 100.0 degrees C; 32.0 to 212.0 degree F (selectable), resolution 0.1 degree C; 0.1 degree F, accuracy + or - 0.5 degree C; + or - 0.5 degrees F + or - 2 mV beyond + or - 199.9 mV. MV is offset up to + or - 150 mV, temperature offset 0.1 degree C or 0.1 degree F increments. Its dimensions are 7.50 (l) x 3.75 (w) x 2.25 (d) inches and it weighs 1.0 lb. Since 1991, Oakton has distributed a wide variety of instruments such as meters, electrodes, and transmitters.
