With the removal of the center shaft, the top knob has now been replaced with a magnetized stopper. This provides the double benefit of greater spice capacity and easier refilling. Daman features Peugeot's exclusive u'Select grind adjustment system, which allows the grind to be adjusted with a simple turn of your wrist! Turn the ring at the bottom of the mill in one direction to make the grind finer; turn in the other direction to make it coarser. Once the grind size is set, it will stay in place until the user changes it. This mill is equipped with Peugeot’s legendary pepper grinding mechanism. Its double-row of helix-shaped claws grab and crack each peppercorn, before drawing it down to the teeth for the perfect grind.
