Rainshowr Green Knight Hydroponic Dechlorinator: Home & Kitchen. The Green Knight is designed for the garden, not as a drinking water filter. Rainshowr Green Knight Hydroponic Dechlorinator is designed to reduce Free Available Chlorine (FAC) in tap water and depending on the pH reduce chloramine compounds. This is a non cartridge filter which attaches to your hose bib with the specially designed 3 ft vinyl reinforced hose saver. It contains 2 lbs of KDF-55 atomized brass, 2 oz of energized crystal to reduce water cluster size and .6oz of KDF formula 73 brass filament for destabilizing the bond between chlorine and ammonia. Do not allow the filter to freeze! Back flush filter monthly to preserve ideal flow rate. Once the filter has been used, run water through the filter at least twice monthly, or store in a refrigerator to prevent media oxidization. Please also note that this filtration system is not recommended for use with fish ponds.
