Product Description
Thermo Scientific Orion PerpHect Gel-Filled Triode, with BNC Connector, 0 to 14 pH: Industrial & Scientific. Thermo Fisher Scientific manufactures analytical instruments, laboratory equipment, consumables, and software under the Thermo Scientific and Fisher Scientific brands, among others. The Thermo Scientific Orion 9207BN PerpHect triode, gel-filled, combination pH electrode features a wick junction for use in aqueous samples, an epoxy body for durability, and measures temperature without a separate ATC probe (LR technology). This electrode has a permanently gelled Ag/AgCl (silver/silver chloride) electrolyte that produces less noise (unwanted voltages) than gold or purely silver electrodes, and requires no refills. The electrode comes with a Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) connection with a 1 m cable for reaching the sample, and a glass bulb. LogR technology allows the user to make temperature compensated pH measurements without using an automatic temperature compensation (ATC) probe. This triode has been designed for use with Orion PerpHecT meters and SensorLink systems. pH range is 0 to 14 (+ or - 0.05), temperature range is 0 to 80 degrees C (+ or - 0.1), with 92 to 102% slope. Body dimensions are 120 mm (4.72) length x 12 mm (0.43) diameter body, with 16 mm (0.62) diameter cap. Buffer and storage solutions are sold separately. pH electrodes are used in pH meters and testers to measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance. They are often constructed of glass, which senses hydrogen ions, and generates a millivoltage that is picked up by the filling solution and transferred to a wire that connects to the pH meter. The company was founded in 2006, and is headquartered in Waltham, MA.
