These filters come in a beautiful retail box which is sealed by the manufacturer to ensure the safety of the filters as they are shipped to you. The retail box is suitable for retail sales and includes a barcode. Also included in the box is a date label to use to properly date the filter as you install it. Also included is an installation instruction sheet. The filter also is protected with a red sanitary end cap which is designed to ensure your product arrives safe, sound and in perfect condition. Each filter includes a 6 gram package of o-ring lubricant known as DOW 111. This lubricant works to ensure that the unit you install goes in properly and also is easy to remove after use. The lubricant is NSF listed for these types of applications. The manufacturer provides it free because they believe that customers would like to ensure that they get the most consistent and easy installation and removal of the filter possible. Its use is optional but for the customers who care, it offers the best insurance against future problems or issues with the filter and its installation. The compatible replacement filter is designed to give you similar or better performance than the original version it replaces. The internal filtration element used is one that is designed to provide the longest life as well as the highest amount of simple dirt holding capacity available.
