Measuring just 7 by 5-1/4 inches, the bin sits comfortably on a craft table, desk, or bathroom vanity. You can even keep it near the kitchen sink to collect coffee grounds for the compost bin. Made of stainless steel brushed to a contemporary matte finish, the wastebasket is comprised of a lid and base that pull apart for emptying. A round spring-loaded door in the center of the domed lid pushes open for depositing debris, then pops back into place when released. Wash the Pushboy by hand when necessary. A taller version, the Pushman, is also available. Blomus is the brand name launched in 2001 for innovative stainless-steel products by SKS-Design, a family-owned German design company now run by the family's fifth generation. This wastebasket, like most Blomus products, is made in Germany.
