Queen Size Aspen Mountain Cottage Log Bed: Furniture & Decor. All log furniture is subject to the natural process of checking or splitting. Each bed will come with four 4 1/2-6 inch rounded end posts, two 3-5 inch headboard rails and footboard rails, two 3-5 inch side rails, eight 3-6 inch headboard rung/spindles, eight 3-6 inch footboard rungs/spindles and four 2 inch rough cut lumber slats to support your mattress and box spring. The inside of this bed frame will fit a standard size mattress. The outside dimensions will be 65-78 inch wide, 85-100 inch long and weigh approximately 300 lbs. Checking happens as wood releases moisture.
