It offers the same great moisture freeze/thaw and efflorescence protection as ChimneySavers solvent-based repellent but with the advantage of being able to be applied to damp surfaces. That means you can use it when you choose not when the whether permits. This water-repellent also has the distinction of being VOC-compliant in all states and generally safe to use without a respirator when working outdoors.
