Department 56 Dickens Village Crowntree Inn - Anniversary Edition: Home & Kitchen. A special bottom stamp has been added to commemorate the 25th Aniversary of the Dicken's Village Series. The original Shops of Dickens Village featured seven small and simple designs representing the core elements of an English town in the 19th Century-the butcher, the baker, a candle shop, black smith, inn, green grocer, and the basket shop.In 2009 Dept 56 celebrates the Silver Anniversary of this beloved village. The new Crowntree Inn reflects the original building introduced in 1984; a similiar color palette, slate roof, gable with three windows, and diamond leaded glass windows on the upper level.
