While using alkaline batteries the temperature range is -4-degree Fahrenheit to 158-degree Fahrenheit (-20-degree Celsius to 70-degree Celsius). It also features three user-selectable transmission channels and has a remote transmission range of up to 100-feet (30-meters). It also has a user selectable Celsius or Fahrenheit read out.
