The TX28U-IT wireless thermo-hygro sensor transmits temperature and humidity readings to a base unit to enable users to plan appropriately for brisk, hot, or damp weather. For use with any La Crosse 915 MHz Instant Transmission wireless weather systems, the weather-resistant sensor communicates to the base every 4 seconds from a distance of up to 330 feet unobstructed. Outdoor temperature measurement capabilities range from -39.9 to +139.8 degrees F, while humidity levels assessed range from 1 to 99 percent. The sensor’s small LCD screen alternates between displaying the current temperature and current humidity data. To ensure the most accurate readings, install the sensor out of direct rain and sunlight; the sensor can conveniently be mounted upright or on a wall. A limited one-year warranty covers this item.
