La Crosse Technology Weather Direct WD-3312U-CH 4 Day Multi-Line Internet Powered Wireless Forecaster: Home & Kitchen. For forecast operation, no additional software or Wi-Fi connection is required. This internet-powered wireless forecaster one-ups the TV weather reporter by providing forecasts for the chance of precipitation, rainfall amount, hours of sun, barometric pressure, and wind gust speed and direction, in addition to the expected sky conditions and high and low temperatures. From La Crosse Technology, the Weather Direct WD-3312U four-day forecaster offers free internet forecasts sent directly to its display while it also relays the current outdoor temperature transmitted by the included TX-50U wireless sensor. A provided AC-powered gateway connects with a secure LAN cable to a network router for internet forecast transmissions, whether or not the computer is on or not. Upon online registration, the user selects the forecast location from over 60,000 US and Canadian locations.The chocolate-framed display stands alone, or wall hangs. The top LCD section displays the time, the indoor temperature, and the current day’s forecast, conveyed with the projected high and low temperatures and sky condition icon.
