Monitor the outdoor air temperature and check soil temperature with this compact wireless weather station and its optional, waterproof probe. From La Crosse Technology, the weather station allows users to check the indoor temperature and humidity levels, assess outdoor temperatures, and keep track of the time.Equipped for wall hanging or tabletop display, the weather station’s receiver conveys climate conditions and the time on an easy-to-read LCD screen with adjustable contrast. The receiver registers indoor temperatures from 14.1 to 139.8 degrees F and indoor humidity levels from 1 to 99 percent. By pressing the MIN/MAX button on the receiver’s two-button interface, the user can observe the recorded minimum and maximum temperatures and humidity levels. The receiver’s clock conveys time in either 12- or 24-hour formats. Likewise, temperatures are expressed in either Fahrenheit or Celsius degrees. To monitor outdoor temperatures, the weather station provides a TX25U wireless sensor and its detachable 10-foot wire probe. A small LCD screen on the sensor offers the outdoor temperature reading. Measuring outdoor temperatures from -39.8 to +139 degrees F, the sensor transmits to the receiver from up to 330 feet away at a 915 MHz frequency. The probe plugs into the sensor for transmitting additional temperature readings via the weather station’s second channel. For the best results, mount the sensor with its wall-mount stand in a dry, shaded area. The weather station accommodates up to three remote sensors total. A limited one-year warranty covers this product.
