Product Description
La Crosse Technology WT-3145A 14-1/2-Inch Atomic Analog Wall Clock with LCD: Home & Kitchen. To power the clock, the separate purchase of two AA batteries is required. Stay informed of the precise time with this 14-1/2-inch atomic wall clock from La Crosse Technology. Radio-controlled by signals from the national atomic clock’s WWVB radio transmitter in Colorado, the WT-3145A clock resets daily according to these transmissions for continued accuracy. The clock also releases users from remembering to change the time for Daylight Savings Time (DST) with an automatic DST feature.Crafted with a black plastic frame, the wall clock features an analog face. Large black numbers circle the white dial and black clock hands tick off the hours, minutes, and seconds. On the back of the clock, the user selects Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zone with the provided buttons. The DST On/Off button turns off the automatic DST for residents of Arizona and other regions that don’t observe daylight savings. While another button permits manual time setting, the atomic clock will override manual settings when in range of the WWVB signal. Set inside the clock’s face, a small LCD relates the indoor temperature, date, day of week, world time, and seconds. Four different digital display views are available, selected and adjusted with buttons on the back of the LCD. With a range of 14.2 to 103.8 degrees F, temperatures are expressed in Fahrenheit to the tenth of a degree. World time is displayed in a 12-hour format with a PM indicator. For the best results, hang the clock near a window at least 6 feet away from TVs, computers, and other electronic appliances. This item is designed for indoor use only. A one-year limited warranty covers this item.
