It has been carved from a solid piece of wood and is 7-3/4 inches long x 6 inches tall x 3 inches wide.. The mouse is beautifully carved and his little arms and paws are held outward to hold the door. That's why we calling him Mighty Mouse. When you see him you will certainly agree that it is a beautiful piece. It has been stained dark finish and will look great in any room in your home. We have been told some people put a skid cloth or paper under it to keep it from slipping.
