Sandalwood - Gonesh Incense Cones - Pack of 25: Home Improvement. When burned, the approaching ember vaporizes the oil in the cone into the air and the charcoal burns away. Gonesh Incense Cones are manufactured using a dried charcoal coated cone. This is then immersed into a scented oil, the charcoal in the cone absorbs some of the oil and afterwards they are left out to dry. After drying the newly scented cones are sealed inside an airtight bag before packaging. This vaporized oil creates a rich, strong scented smoke.
