It has been carved from a solid piece of wood and is 8 inches long x 6 inches tall x 5.25 inches wide. The starfish is beautifully carved and when you see it you will certainly agree that it is a beautiful piece. It has been stained whitewash finish which is great for a nautical looking piece.. We have been told some people put a skid cloth or paper under it to keep it from slipping.
