HEARING GOD'S VOICE - UNDERSTANDING VISIONS AND DREAMS, P03
Another way Yahweh can speak to you is through Visions and Dreams.
For example, about 4 years ago, I had a dream where He showed me a place in an ocean. From the perspective of being in the ocean, I saw at a distance a very faint stairway that went out of the water onto much higher land.
Then, I saw from a more bird's eye perspective the same ocean, yet this time, the stairway out of the ocean was much clearer and recognizable.
When I awoke, I asked what the meaning of the dream was.
He told me:
1. The ocean was the Kyrgyz people (my ex wife was from Kyrgyzstan).
2. The stairway.
3. The first scene was the good news being preached by people one by one in Kyrgyzstan to others.
4. The second scene was the good news show over multimedia (radio, TV, internet, etc).
5. He told me that he wanted me to do radio, internet, etc in Kyrgyzstan.
Now, today, I know this was from Him. How do I know?
Well, with the \""keys\"" Robert Ferrell discovered in the Word, you can see how this patterns after Biblical imagery:
Sea (Ocean) = Nations, Peoples.
Stairway = Road to heaven.
Jacob's ladder to heaven.
So, when you have a vision or dream, you should check into biblical imagery for the interpretation. Also, you should pray and seek Him for the exact meaning as well.
