The Afterlife: Heaven & Hell - This Age, The Next Two Ages & Thereafter
We are taught in church a very simplistic model: You live in this age, then you die and either end up in Hell forever or Heaven forever..
However, this model is extremely simple and inaccurate, if one tries to actually fit it with scripture.
The fact is, there are many ages mentioned in scripture. you have this age, you have the next Millennial Reign of Christ for 1000 years age, then you have the Judgment and that age, and then the End of Ages.
With all of this said, this is just a model that attempts to fit what scripture says into a sound model.
Rather than staying in simple theology, we need to sit down and truly digest what God's Word says and create a model that actually fits scripture.
I am not saying he is totally right. He could be wrong on a number of things. I just thought it was interesting that he was able to harmonize many things and make a model that atleast tries to fit scripture.
