  was composed; though some think it was written by David in the
  wilderness when persecuted by Saul.

  rendered, line, like the Greek [           ] by which the
  LXX., (who are followed by St. Paul), render it, no doubt
  signifies the sound as well as the cord which emits it.  The
  Vulgate, Jerome, and Symmachus, render it to the same purpose.
