Chapter 41 RESOURCES
A majority of the worthwhile material published since 1950, which
defends creationism and discusses the flaws in evolutionary theory, will
be found in this bibliography.
1 - CREATION CLASSICS
Special Pioneering Works prior to 1945
The following are creationist classics in the field and, although all
but the fourth have been out-of-print for years, copies are occasionally
obtainable through reprints. See chapter 29 for more information about

6 - SPECIAL COLLECTIONS
Bibliographies, Quotations, Interviews
Here are additional special collections of creationist and
anti-evolutionist materials. The creationist periodicals will be
especially valued; some of which are listed below and more in the next
section. You may wish to obtain a few sample copies and then, If the
content is what you are looking for, either subscribe and/or obtain back
issues.
1 - Back issues of the Creation Research Society Quarterlies are
available going back into the mid-1960s. You would need to contact them
for further information: Creation Research Society, P.O. Box 14016,
Terra Haute, IN 47803.
2 - Institute for Creation Research is continually publishing new
books, as well as small booklets, leaflets, etc. Their address is:
Institute for Creation Research, 10946 Woodside Ave, N., Santee, CA
92071.
3 - Tom McIver, who happens not to be a creationist, compiled a
fairly exhaustive annotated bibliography which was published in 1988. It
includes books by creationists and also by evolutionists critiquing
aspects of evolutionary theory. Tom McIver, Anti-Evolution: An Annotated
Bibliography (1988), 385 pp. McFarland and Co., Box 811, Jefferson, NC
28640.
4 - In 1989 a new resource book was released:
Creationist Research: 1964-1988, by Duane T. Gish. Copies are available
from Creation Research Society or from Institute for Creation Research.
5 - An unusual collection of scientific oddities has been compiled in
15 or more books by William R. Corliss, apparently also a
non-creationist. Some of the material has bearing on creationistic
issues. He also sells books compiled by others on scientific anomalies,
curiosities, and enigmas. For a catalogue, write to William R. Corliss,
Sourcebook Project, Box 107, Glen Arm, MD
6 - John Moore has prepared another worthwhile resource:
"An accumulative computerized bibliographic compilation is
available for one dollar upon request to Dr. [John R.] Moore. These
materials were gathered while using six research grants from Michigan
State University over twelve years under the title, `Library Search
for Representative Statements by Scientists on Organic Evolution,
Natural Selection, and Related Topics since 1959.' " --John N.
Moors,
"Impact of Evolution on the Humanities and
Science," in Up with Creation (1978), p. 331 [quoted from CRI
pamphlet, Acts and Facts, October 1977; Dr. Moors may be contacted by
writing to Creation Research Institute at the address given a few
paragraphs ago].
7 - Yet another unusual resource is available from the New York State
Department of Education:
"In December of 1978, the New York State Board of Regents
directed the New York Education Department to do a detailed study of how
theories on origins should be treated in a revised version of the
state's Regent Biology Syllabus. As part of their study, they invited
the author to supply pertinent scientific information to the Bureau of
Science Education which was conducting the study.
"During the next year, the author conducted taped interviews
with officials in five natural history museums containing some of the
largest fossil collections in the world. The interviews were with Dr.
Colin Patterson in London; Dr. Niles Eldredge in New York City; Dr.
David M. Raup in Chicago; Dr. David Pilbeam in Boston; and Dr. Donald
Fisher, state paleontologist at the New York State Natural History
Museum. Written transcripts of the interview were given to the New York
State Education Department for use in their study on origins . .
"This book presents the substance of these interviews through
the use of short excerpts and summaries of the replies to the questions.
Anyone, however, can gain access to the original typed verbatim
interview transcripts which were prepared for the New York State
Education Department by going to any public library in the United States
and asking for the ERIC Document Reproduction Service microfiche
ED 228-056, Darwin's Enigma: The Fossil Record "-Luther
