In Biblical Aramaic (Chaldean), the Aphel is a causative conjugation
like the Hebrew Hiphil, but with the letter Aleph substituted for the
initial He. Other changes in spelling also occur, but otherwise the verb functions similarly to the Hebrew Hiphil, expressing
causative action.
