y Obadías hijo de Semaías, hijo de Galal, hijo de Jedutún; y Berequías hijo de Asa, hijo de Elcana, el cual habitó en las aldeas de netofatitas.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 16. And Obadiah the son of Shemaiah , etc.] Called Abda the son of Shammua, ( Nehemiah 11:17) the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun ; who was Ethan, another of the singers in the time of David: and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites ; the villages about Netophah, which was in the tribe of Judah, ( 1 Chronicles 2:54), ( Nehemiah 7:26) which may be understood either of Elkanah, the ancestor of Berechiah, whose dwelling was there; or of Berechiah, and must be rendered, who had dwelt there ; for now he dwelt at Jerusalem.
Matthew Henry Commentary

Here is an accoun of the good state into which the affairs of religion were put, on the return from Babylon. Every one knew his charge. Work is likely to be done well when every one knows the duty of his place, and makes business of it. God is the God of order. Thus was the temple a figur of the heavenly one, where they rest not day nor night from praisin God, Re 4:8. Blessed be His name, believers there shall, not in turn but all together, without interruption, praise him night and day: ma the Lord make each of us fit for the inheritance of the saints in light __________________________________________________________________
