SEV Biblia, Chapter 38:12
para arrebatar despojos y para tomar presa; para tornar tu mano sobre las tierras desiertas ya pobladas, y sobre el pueblo recogido de los gentiles, que ya hace ganados y posesiones, que moran en el ombligo de la tierra.
Clarke's Bible Commentary - Ezekiel 38:12
Verse 12. To take a spoil-and a prey] When Antiochus took Jerusalem he gave the pillage of it to his soldiers, and spoiled the temple of its riches, which were immense. See Joseph. WAR, B. i. C. 1.
Matthew Henry Commentary
The army and malice of Gog. (Ezek. 38:1-13) God's judgments. (Ezek 38:14-23) Ezek. 38:1-13 These events will be in the latter days. It is suppose these enemies will come together to invade the land of Judea, and God will defeat them. God not only sees who are now the enemies of his church, but he foresees who will be so, and lets them know by his wor that he is against them; though they join together, the wicked shal not be unpunished.
Ezek. 38:14-23 The enemy should make a formidable descent upon the lan of Israel. When Israel dwell safely under the Divine protection, shal not thou be made to know it by finding that endeavours to destroy the are made in vain? Promises of security are treasured up in the word of God, against the troubles and dangers the church may be brought into in the latter days. In the destruction of sinners, God makes it appea that he is a great and holy God. We should desire and pray daily Father, glorify thine own name __________________________________________________________________
