SEV Biblia, Chapter 9:11
Respondi l y dijo: Un hombre que se llama Jess, hizo lodo, y me unt los ojos, y me dijo: Ve al estanque de Silo, y lvate; y fui, y me lav, y recibí la vista.
Clarke's Bible Commentary - John 9:11
Verse 11. A man that is called Jesus] The whole of this relation is simple and artless in the highest degree. The blind man had never seen Jesus, but he had heard of his name- he felt that he had put something on his eyes, which he afterwards found to be clay-but how this was made he could not tell, because he could not see Jesus when he did it; therefore he does not say, he made clay of spittle-but simply, he made clay, and spread it upon my eyes. Where a multitude of incidents must necessarily come into review, imposture and falsehood generally commit themselves, as it is termed; but, however numerous the circumstances may be in a relation of fact, simple truth is never embarrassed.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 11. He answered and said, a man that is called Jesus , etc.] Whom he had as yet little knowledge of, only by some means or another he had learned his name; made clay and anointed mine eyes , etc. (see Gill on John 9:6), (see Gill on John 9:7).
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 8-12 - Those whose eyes are opened, and whose hearts are cleansed by grace being known to be the same person, but widely different in character live as monuments to the Redeemer's glory, and recommend his grace to all who desire the same precious salvation. It is good to observe the way and method of God's works, and they will appear the more wonderful Apply this spiritually. In the work of grace wrought upon the soul we see the change, but we see not the hand that makes it: the way of the Spirit is like that of the wind, which thou hearest the sound of, but canst not tell whence it comes, nor whither it goes.

11. To the pool of Siloam. The best texts read simply, Go to Siloam. Received sight (anebleya). Originally, to look up, as Matt. xiv. 19; Mark xvi. 4, and so some render it here; but better, I recovered sight.
