VERSE (7) -
Ge 2:24 Mt 19:5,6 Eph 5:31

SEV Biblia, Chapter 10:7

Por esto (dice) dejar el hombre a su padre y a su madre, y se juntar a su mujer.

John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 7. For this cause shall a man leave his
father and mother , etc..] The Persic version adds, and brethren and sisters, though without any foundation in the original text, in ( Genesis 2:24), from whence this passage is cited; or in any copy of the evangelist: and cleave to his wife ; (see Gill on Matthew 19:5).

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 1-12 - Wherever
Jesus was, the people flocked after him in crowds, and he taught them. Preaching was Christ's constant practice. He here show that the reason why Moses' law allowed divorce, was such that the ought not to use the permission; it was only for the hardness of their hearts. God himself joined man and wife together; he has fitted them to be comforts and helps for each other. The bond which God has tied, is not to be lightly untied. Let those who are for putting away their wives consider what would become of themselves, if God should deal with them in like manner.
