3:2 So I opened 6605 8799 my mouth 6310, and he caused me to eat 398 8686 that roll 4039.

3:3 And he said 559 8799 unto me, Son 1121 of man 120, cause thy belly 990 to eat 398 8686, and fill 4390 8762 thy bowels 4578 with this roll 4039 that I give 5414 8802 thee. Then did I eat 398 8799 [it]; and it was in my mouth 6310 as honey 1706 for sweetness 4966.

3:4 And he said 559 8799 unto me, Son 1121 of man 120, go 3212 8798, get 935 8798 thee unto the house 1004 of Israel 3478, and speak 1696 8765 with my words 1697 unto them.

3:5 For thou [art] not sent 7971 8803 to a people 5971 of a strange 6012 speech 8193 and of an hard 3515 language 3956, [but] to the house 1004 of Israel 3478;(of a…: Heb. deep of lip, and heavy of tongue)

3:6 Not to many 7227 people 5971 of a strange 6012 speech 8193 and of an hard 3515 language 3956, whose words 1697 thou canst not understand 8085 8799. Surely, had I sent 7971 8804 thee to them, they would have hearkened 8085 8799 unto thee.(of a…: Heb. deep of lip, and heavy of language)(Surely…: or, If I had sent thee, etc. would they not have hearkened unto thee?)

3:7 But the house 1004 of Israel 3478 will 14 8799 not hearken 8085 8800 unto thee; for they will 14 8802 not hearken 8085 8800 unto me: for all the house 1004 of Israel 3478 [are] impudent 2389 4696 and hardhearted 7186 3820.(impudent…: Heb. stiff of forehead, and hard of heart)

3:8 Behold, I have made 5414 8804 thy face 6440 strong 2389 against 5980 their faces 6440, and thy forehead 4696 strong 2389 against 5980 their foreheads 4696.

3:9 As an adamant 8068 harder 2389 than flint 6864 have I made 5414 8804 thy forehead 4696: fear 3372 8799 them not, neither be dismayed 2865 8735 at their looks 6440, though they [be] a rebellious 4805 house 1004.

3:10 Moreover he said 559 8799 unto me, Son 1121 of man 120, all my words 1697 that I shall speak 1696 8762 unto thee receive 3947 8798 in thine heart 3824, and hear 8085 8798 with thine ears 241.

3:11 And go 3212 8798, get 935 8798 thee to them of the captivity 1473, unto the children 1121 of thy people 5971, and speak 1696 8765 unto them, and tell 559 8804 them, Thus saith 559 8804 the Lord 136 GOD 3069; whether they will hear 8085 8799, or whether they will forbear 2308 8799.

3:12 Then the spirit 7307 took me up 5375 8799, and I heard 8085 8799 behind 310 me a voice 6963 of a great 1419 rushing 7494, [saying], Blessed 1288 8803 [be] the glory 3519 of the LORD 3068 from his place 4725.

3:13 [I heard] also the noise 6963 of the wings 3671 of the living creatures 2416 that touched 5401 8688 one 802 another 269, and the noise 6963 of the wheels 212 over against 5980 them, and a noise 6963 of a great 1419 rushing 7494.(touched: Heb. kissed)

3:14 So the spirit 7307 lifted me up 5375 8804, and took me away 3947 8799, and I went 3212 8799 in bitterness 4751, in the heat 2534 of my spirit 7307; but the hand 3027 of the LORD 3068 was strong 2388 8804 upon me.(in bitterness: Heb. bitter)(heat: Heb. hot anger)

3:15 Then I came 935 8799 to them of the captivity 1473 at Telabib 8512, that dwelt 3427 8802 by the river 5104 of Chebar 3529, and I sat 3427 8799 where they sat 3427 8799, and remained 3427 8799 there astonished 8074 8688 among 8432 them seven 7651 days 3117.

3:16 And it came to pass at the end 7097 of seven 7651 days 3117, that the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came unto me, saying 559 8800,

3:17 Son 1121 of man 120, I have made 5414 8804 thee a watchman 6822 8802 unto the house 1004 of Israel 3478: therefore hear 8085 8804 the word 1697 at my mouth 6310, and give them warning 2094 8689 from me.

3:18 When I say 559 8800 unto the wicked 7563, Thou shalt surely 4191 8800 die 4191 8799; and thou givest him not warning 2094 8689, nor speakest 1696 8765 to warn 2094 8687 the wicked 7563 from his wicked 7563 way 1870, to save his life 2421 8763; the same wicked 7563 [man] shall die 4191 8799 in his iniquity 5771; but his blood 1818 will I require 1245 8762 at thine hand 3027.

3:19 Yet if thou warn 2094 8689 the wicked 7563, and he turn 7725 8804 not from his wickedness 7562, nor from his wicked 7563 way 1870, he shall die 4191 8799 in his iniquity 5771; but thou hast delivered 5337 8689 thy soul 5315.

3:20 Again 7725 0, When a righteous 6662 [man] doth turn 7725 8800 from his righteousness 6664, and commit 6213 8804 iniquity 5766, and I lay 5414 8804 a stumblingblock 4383 before 6440 him, he shall die 4191 8799: because thou hast not given him warning 2094 8689, he shall die 4191 8799 in his sin 2403, and his righteousness 6666 which he hath done 6213 8804 shall not be remembered 2142 8735; but his blood 1818 will I require 1245 8762 at thine hand 3027.(righteousness which: Heb. righteousnesses)

3:21 Nevertheless if thou warn 2094 8689 the righteous 6662 [man], that the righteous 6662 sin 2398 8800 not, and he doth not sin 2398 8804, he shall surely 2421 8800 live 2421 8799, because he is warned 2094 8737; also thou hast delivered 5337 8689 thy soul 5315.

3:22 And the hand 3027 of the LORD 3068 was there upon me; and he said 559 8799 unto me, Arise 6965 8798, go forth 3318 8798 into the plain 1237, and I will there talk 1696 8762 with thee.

3:23 Then I arose 6965 8799, and went forth 3318 8799 into the plain 1237: and, behold, the glory 3519 of the LORD 3068 stood 5975 8802 there, as the glory 3519 which I saw 7200 8804 by the river 5104 of Chebar 3529: and I fell 5307 8799 on my face 6440.

3:24 Then the spirit 7307 entered 935 8799 into me, and set 5975 8686 me upon my feet 7272, and spake 1696 8762 with me, and said 559 8799 unto me, Go 935 8798, shut 5462 8734 thyself within 8432 thine house 1004.

3:25 But thou, O son 1121 of man 120, behold, they shall put 5414 8804 bands 5688 upon thee, and shall bind 631 8804 thee with them, and thou shalt not go out 3318 8799 among 8432 them:

3:26 And I will make thy tongue 3956 cleave 1692 8686 to the roof of thy mouth 2441, that thou shalt be dumb 481 8738, and shalt not be to them a reprover 376 3198 8688: for they [are] a rebellious 4805 house 1004.(a reprover: Heb. a man reproving)

3:27 But when I speak 1696 8763 with 854 thee, I will open 6605 8799 thy mouth 6310, and thou shalt say 559 8804 unto them, Thus saith 559 8804 the Lord 136 GOD 3069; He that heareth 8085 8802, let him hear 8085 8799; and he that forbeareth 2310, let him forbear 2308 8799: for they [are] a rebellious 4805 house 1004.
