SEV Biblia, Chapter 7:7
Como la expiación por el pecado, así será la expiación de la culpa; una misma ley tendrán; será del sacerdote que habrá hecho la reconciliación con ella.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 7. As the sin [offering is], so [is] the trespass [offering, there is] one law for them , etc.] The same as in ( Leviticus 6:27,28): the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it ; who by offering it made atonement for the trespass of the person that brings it, as typical of the atonement by the sacrifice of Christ; he was to have all but what was burnt, for himself and his sons; though no doubt but other priests then on duty in the court ate with him.
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 1-10 - In the sin-offering and the trespass-offering, the sacrifice wa divided between the altar and the priest; the offerer had no share, a he had in the peace-offerings. The former expressed repentance an sorrow for sin, therefore it was more proper to fast than feast; the peace-offerings denoted communion with a reconciled God in Christ, the joy and gratitude of a pardoned sinner, and the privileges of a tru believer.
