SEV Biblia, Chapter 15:34
E hizo lo malo delante de los ojos del SEŅOR, y anduvo en el camino de Jeroboam, y en su pecado con que hizo pecar a Israel.
Clarke's Bible Commentary - 1 Kings 15:34
Verse 34. Walked in the way of Jeroboam] The entail of iniquity cannot be cut off but by a thorough conversion of the soul to God; and of this, these bad kings seem to have had no adequate notion. The wicked followed the steps of the wicked, and became still more wicked; sin gathers strength by exercise and age.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 34. And he did evil in the sight of the Lord , etc.] As Nadab did, whom he slew: and walked in the way of Jeroboam ; whose family he destroyed: and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin ; in worshipping the golden calves; so that it was not out of dislike to idolatry, but out of malice and ambition, that he slew the family of Jeroboam.
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 25-34 - During the single reign of Asa in Judah, the government of Israel wa in six or seven different hands. Observe the ruin of the family of Jeroboam; no word of God shall fall to the ground. Divine threatening are not designed merely to terrify. Ungodly men execute the jus judgments of God upon each other. But in the midst of dreadful sins an this apparent confusion, the Lord carries on his own plan: when it is fully completed, the glorious justice, wisdom, truth, and mercy therei displayed, shall be admired and adored through all the ages of eternity __________________________________________________________________
