SEV Biblia, Chapter 9:13

Y moraba Mefi-boset en Jerusalén, porque comía perpetuamente a la mesa del rey; y era cojo de ambos pies.

Clarke's Bible Commentary - 2 Samuel 9:13

Verse 13. Did eat continually at the king's table] He was fit for no public office, but was treated by the king with the utmost respect and affection.

John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 13. So Mephibosheth dwelt in
Jerusalem , etc.] Either in some apartments in the king’s palace, or in some house in the city provided for him; for he returned not to Lodebar, nor to any mansion house upon the estate, of Saul restored unto him: for he did eat continually at the king’s table ; to which he was invited, and he accepted of: and was lame on both his feet ; or “though” he was f158 , yet this was no objection to David, he admitted him notwithstanding his infirmity; nor any obstruction to Mephibosheth, who found ways and means to be carried to the king’s table daily.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 9-13 - As
David was a type of Christ, his Lord and Son, his Root an Offspring, let his kindness to Mephibosheth remind us of the kindnes and love of God our Saviour to fallen man, to whom he was under n obligation, as David was to Jonathan. The Son of God seeks this los and ruined race, who sought not after him. He comes to seek and to sav them __________________________________________________________________
