SEV Biblia, Chapter 28:5
y la décima de un efa de flor de harina, amasada con una cuarta de un hin de aceite molido, en presente.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 5. And the tenth part of an ephah of flour for a meat offering , etc.] Which always went along with the burnt offering: mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil : which in those times and countries was used instead of butter; and fine flour and this mingled together made a “minchah”, or bread offering, as it should rather be called; of the measures used, (see Gill on “ Exodus 29:40”).
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 1-8 - God saw fit now to repeat the law of sacrifices. This was a ne generation of men; and they were concerned to keep their peace with God when at war with their enemies. The daily sacrifice is called continual burnt-offering; when we are bid to pray always, at leas every morning and evening we should offer up solemn prayers and praise to God. Nothing is added here but that the wine poured out in the drink-offering is to be strong wine, to teach us to serve God with the best we have. It was a figure of the blood of Christ, the memorial of which is still left to the church in wine; and of the blood of the martyrs, which was poured out as a drink-offering on the sacrifice an service of our faith, Php 2:17.
