Todos estos fueron hijos de Jediael, cabezas de familias, varones valientes de gran valor, diecisiete mil doscientos que salían a combatir en la guerra.

Ver. 11. All these the sons of Jediael, by the heads of their fathers, mighty men of valour, [were] seventeen thousand and two hundred [soldiers], fit to go out for war and battle .] Which, with the above sums put together, make of the tribe of Benjamin, besides what follow, 59,430; who, if numbered by Joab, the account was not given in by him, ( 1 Chronicles 21:6).

Genealogies. --Here is no account either of Zebulun or Dan. We can assign no reaso why they only should be omitted; but it is the disgrace of the tribe of Dan, that idolatry began in that colony which fixed in Laish, an called it Dan, Jud 18 and there one of the golden calves was set up by Jeroboam. Dan is omitted, Re 7. Men become abominable when they forsak the worship of the true God, for any creature object __________________________________________________________________
