SEV Biblia, Chapter 2:12
Y además decía Hiram : Bendito sea el SEÑOR el Dios de Israel, que hizo los cielos y la tierra, y que dio al rey David hijo sabio, entendido, cuerdo y prudente, que edifique Casa al SEÑOR, y casa para su reino.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 12. Huram said, moreover, blessed be the Lord God of Israel, that made heaven and earth , etc.] Huram seems to have had some good notions of the divine Being, not only as the God of the people of Israel, in a peculiar sense, but as the Former and Maker of all things: who hath given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and understanding ; (see 1 Kings 5:7) that might build an house for the Lord, and for his kingdom ; as in ( <140201> Chronicles 2:1).
Matthew Henry Commentary
The building of the temple. --There is a more particular account of the building of the temple in 1Ki 6.
