SEV Biblia, Chapter 19:12

Pero fue arrancada con ira, derribada en tierra, y viento solano secó su fruto; fueron quebradas sus ramas y se secó; fuego consumió la vara de su fuerza.

Clarke's Bible Commentary - Ezekiel 19:12

Verse 12. But she was plucked up in fury]
Jerusalem; taken after a violent and most destructive siege; Nebuchadnezzar being violently enraged against Zedekiah for breaking his oath to him.

She was cast down to the ground] Jerusalem was totally ruined, by being burned to the ground.

Her strong rods were broken] The children of Zedekiah were slain before his eyes, and after that his own eyes pulled out; and he was laden with chains, and carried into Babylon.

Matthew Henry Commentary
A
parable lamenting the ruin of Jehoahaz and Jehoiakim. (Ezek. 19:1-9 Another describing the desolation of the people. (Ezek. 19:10-14)

Ezek. 19:1-9 Ezekiel is to compare the kingdom of Judah to a lioness He must compare the kings of Judah to a lion's whelps; they were crue and oppressive to their own subjects. The righteousness of God is to be acknowledged, when those who have terrified and enslaved others, ar themselves terrified and enslaved. When professors of religion for connexions with ungodly persons, their children usually grow u following after the maxims and fashions of a wicked world. Advancemen to authority discovers the ambition and selfishness of men's hearts and those who spend their lives in mischief, generally end them by violence.

Ezek. 19:10-14 Jerusalem was a vine, flourishing and fruitful. Thi vine is now destroyed, though not plucked up by the roots. She has by wickedness made herself like tinder to the sparks of God's wrath, s that her own branches serve as fuel to burn her. Blessed be God, on Branch of the vine here alluded to, is not only become a strong rod for the sceptre of those that rule, but is Himself the true and livin Vine. This shall be for a rejoicing to all the chosen people of God throughout all generations __________________________________________________________________
