Mas todo el oro, y la plata, y vasos de bronce y de hierro, sea consagrado al SEÑOR, y venga al tesoro del SEÑOR.

Verse 19. But all the silver, and gold-shall come into the treasury] The Brahmins will receive from any caste, however degraded, gold, silver, &c.: but to receive from Shoodras food, garments, &c., would be considered a great degradation. - Ward.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 19. But all the silver and gold, and vessels of brass and iron , [are] consecrated to the Lord , etc.] Or rather, “for all the silver”, etc. as the particle here used sometimes signifies, and is so rendered f89 : each of these metals, and whatsoever were made of them, were set apart for the Lord, and dedicated to sacred uses, and might not be converted to any other, unless what were upon their idols, which were to be burnt with fire, ( Deuteronomy 7:25); they shall come into the treasury of the Lord ; be brought into the tabernacle, as Kimchi and Abarbinel interpret it, into some apartment there destined for such service, and which is clear from ( Joshua 6:24); the same where the offering of the officers was brought after the battle with Midian, ( Numbers 31:54).
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 17-27 - Jericho was to be a solemn and awful sacrifice to the justice of God upon those who had filled up the measure of their sins. So He appoints from whom, as creatures, they received their lives, and to whom, a sinners, they had forfeited them. Rahab perished not with them tha believed not, Heb 11:31. All her kindred were saved with her; thu faith in Christ brings salvation to the house, Ac 16:31. She, and the with her, were plucked as brands from the burning. With Rahab, or with the men of Jericho; our portion must be assigned, as we posses of disregard the sign of salvation; even faith in Christ, which worketh by love. Let us remember what depends upon our choice, and let us choos accordingly. God shows the weight of a Divine curse; where it rest there is no getting from under it; for it brings ruin without remedy __________________________________________________________________
