SEV Biblia, Chapter 6:12
Esta Casa que tú edificas, si anduvieres en mis estatutos, e hicieres mis derechos, y guardares todos mis mandamientos andando en ellos, yo tendré firme contigo mi palabra que hablé a David tu padre;

Ver. 12. [Concerning] this house which thou art in building , etc.] Or with respect to that, these things are to be said as from the Lord: if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them ; even all the laws of God, moral, ceremonial, and judicial; and this respects not only Solomon personally, but his successors, and even all the people of Israel: then will I perform my covenant with thee, which I spake unto David thy father ; by Nathan the prophet; not only that he should build an house for God, which should be a settled dwelling place, but that his own house and kingdom should be established for a long time to come, and his posterity should enjoy the presence of God in this house, provided regard was had to the precepts and ordinances of the Lord, ( 2 Samuel 7:12-16). Ver. 13 . And I will dwell among the children of Israel , etc.] In this house now building, and which was in the middle of the land, and where he would meet with them, and accept their sacrifices, not only of slain beasts, but of prayer and praise: and will not forsake my people Israel ; and leave them to the mercy of their enemies, and to be carried captive by them, but protect and defend them.
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 11-14 - None employ themselves for God, without having his eye upon them. But God plainly let Solomon know that all the charge for building thi temple, would neither excuse from obedience to the law of God, no shelter from his judgments, in case of disobedience.
